The highlight of the month was undoubtedly the grand opening of Parker’s Kitchen on April 23, 2025. This special event commemorated the opening of their 100th store, and what better way to celebrate than with fabulous giveaways, lively music, and appearances by some special guests? The energy was electric, as shoppers explored the store while enjoying free goodies and entertainment. This milestone marks a significant moment for the fast-growing brand and an exciting addition to Savannah’s community.
Before the Earth Day festivities, the Town of Thunderbolt organized the Great Thunderbolt Egg Hunt at Cesaroni Park on April 19. This annual event drew families together for an afternoon of festive fun! Children dashed around the park, hunting for brightly colored eggs filled with surprises. It was heartwarming to see the community come together, enjoying sunshine, laughter, and the spirit of Easter.
On April 18, Habitat for Humanity had their Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, where they recognized and celebrated the vital contributions of their hardworking volunteers.
