Hey Savannah, it looks like our city is in need of some community spirit. The police department has reached out for help in locating a few individuals who have recently been reported missing. Missing persons cases can be concerning, and your eyes could be the key to bringing them home safely. Here are the details of the individuals they are hoping to locate.
First, we have Lynda Harper, a 61-year-old woman who went missing around 2 a.m. on Wednesday morning. The last sighting of Lynda was in the Winslow Circle area, and she was wearing all pink clothing, which might make her easier to identify. If you spot her or have any information, please don’t hesitate to contact 911 immediately. Your quick action could make a huge difference.
Next up on the list is Angel Harper, who is 33 years old. Standing at 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 100 pounds, she was last seen in the 200 block of Beech Street. If anyone has seen Angel or has any leads on her whereabouts, the Savannah Police Special Victims Unit would appreciate a call at 912-651-6742. Alternatively, dialing 911 with any tips would also be helpful.
Now let’s talk about Savannah McDermott, a 29-year-old who hasn’t been seen since October 6th. At around 2 p.m. that day, she was leaving the area of Suffolk Street, while rolling a cart filled with various clothes and bags. Savannah is also reported to have a medical condition that may impair her judgment, making it even more important for anyone with information to step forward. If you know anything at all, reach out to the Pascagoula Police Department at 228-762-2211.
Lastly, we have Derrick Walker, a 51-year-old man who was last seen on Friday exiting from the 2400 block of Bolling St.. Derrick is a tall guy, standing 6 feet and weighing around 340 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last known to be driving a white Ford F-150 with a Georgia tag reading TCS0162. There’s a possibility he could be in the Wilmington Island area as of Saturday. If you happen to come across him or his vehicle, please call 911 right away.
It’s hard to imagine the anxiety that families of these missing individuals must be going through. The police department truly values community help, and they are counting on all of us to stay vigilant and assist in any way possible. Sometimes a simple sighting can lead to vital information that helps bring loved ones back home.
Remember, if you see any of these individuals or have useful information, picking up the phone and making that call might help reunite them with their families. Whether you’re in your car, walking your dog, or just enjoying the lovely Savannah streets, keep your eyes open and stay aware!
Thank you for keeping an eye out, Savannah! Let’s band together to support our community and help those who are missing find their way home.
