Get ready, Savannah! Our beloved local nonprofit, Loop It Up Savannah, is gearing up for a fantastic celebration this March 8, 2025, as they proudly mark their 10th anniversary.
The event, aptly named “Soup It Up,” takes place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the beautiful Kehoe Iron Works Building located at Trustees’ Garden right here in downtown Savannah. This is going to be a night filled with delicious flavors and community spirit!
Loop It Up Savannah aims to raise $175,000 through this special fundraiser, which will directly support their core educational programs. These programs focus on literacy, mindfulness, and STEAM education, benefiting over 10,000 students each year. Now that’s something to talk about!
If you’re a fan of good food, you’re in for a treat. Attendees can enjoy a delightful variety of soups and dishes from several amazing local restaurants, such as Fleeting, Collins Quarter, Heavy on the Hors D’Oeuvres, Common, and Lulu’s Chocolate Bar. Soup lovers will also have the chance to vote for their favorite soup throughout the evening. The restaurant with the highest votes will take home the prestigious Souper Star Soup Bowl trophy. How fun is that?
Curious about how to join the festivities? Tickets are available for just $100 for individuals and $175 for couples. There are also several sponsorship levels for those who want to contribute a little extra to this worthy cause. Every bit of support counts!
The event is part of Loop It Up Savannah’s Annual Campaign, which runs from late November through March. This year marks a significant milestone for the organization as they continue their mission to support creative education programs across Savannah. They partner with Savannah Chatham County Public Schools to provide educational resources and support in over 40 schools in the area. That’s right, people—we’re talking about real change and growth for our children!
In addition to their core programs, Loop It Up Savannah also provides afterschool enrichment at 24 schools through the SCCPSS 21st Century After School Program. This means more creativity, learning, and fun for our kids, so let’s give back!
As you savor your delicious soup, you can tap your feet to the tunes of DJ Jose Ray who will be spinning the tracks throughout the night. There’ll also be exciting raffle prizes and auction items up for grabs. It’s not just about soup; it’s a whole night of entertainment and community bonding!
Mark your calendars and be sure to bring your friends and family to “Soup It Up”. It’s a wonderful opportunity to eat, drink, and contribute to an advancement in education for countless children in our community. With the spirit of togetherness, support, and creativity, Loop It Up Savannah is proving that when we come together, amazing things can happen!
Let’s celebrate 10 years of creative education on March 8, and help pave the way for an even brighter future!
