Get Ready, Savannah! Tools for School Event Set for July 20, 2025, at Cann Park

Hey there, Savannah! Are you excited for back-to-school season? Well, mark your calendars because July 20, 2025 is going to be a fantastic day for students and families in our community. That’s when the Tools for School event is happening at Cann Park, and it promises to be a blast!

What’s Happening at Cann Park?

This year, local organizations Ready Set Go Back to School and We Love Cann Park are teaming up to bring you an event you won’t want to miss. Their mission? To provide essential school supplies and personal hygiene items to ensure every child feels prepared and empowered as they head back to the classroom.

Students can expect to find all sorts of goodies that will help them kick off the new school year in style. From notebooks and pencils to soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant, and sanitary pads, this event is all about equipping our local kids for academic success while also supporting their growth in health, confidence, and self-esteem. It’s important that every child can return to school with their heads held high, ready to learn!

Expect a Bigger Turnout This Year

Last year’s Party in the Park was a tremendous success, attracting hundreds of community members who came out to enjoy the festivities and support our students. Organizers are expecting an even larger turnout this year, so don’t forget to rally your friends and family to join the fun!

There’s something for everyone, and the event really aims to make a direct impact on the lives of our local students and families. If you’re feeling generous and want to help out, organizations and individuals are invited to get involved as sponsors, donors, vendors, or volunteers! This is your chance to make a difference where it counts.

Back-to-School Expo Update

Families at the expo received important information about the upcoming school year, along with some free school supplies to help get the school year off on the right foot. What a great way to kick things off!

You might want to check out Flau’jae Johnson‘s second annual Back to School Giveback Festival at Enmarket Arena on July 26. She’ll be giving away free book bags and supplies, making it a must-attend affair.

And don’t miss the various other back-to-school events happening on July 27.
